And finally some sun.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For Today- 2/26: The tail end of this last wave in this series cleared overnight opening us up for a blue bird morning. Expect a cold start with temperatures rebounding through the day and topping out 5-10 degrees warmer than yesterday. Have layers to account for the big swing through the day and don’t forget your sunscreen.

Temperatures: Overnight lows were cold but stayed milder than expected even as skies cleared with Gunnison reporting 7 and -3 for Crested Butte. Highs will climb under the sunny skies but hold to 20 for CB and 24 for Gunni even with the sun. Lows tonight will hover around 0.

Outlook: This gap of sunny skies will be short lived with the next pacific round building in early Monday and offering snow through Tuesday. Skies will clear Wednesday but expect 6-12 new on the ground before we see sun. Overnight Monday and into Tuesday morning will be our best chance at accumulation so think snow and do that snow dance.
