Blue bird and cold.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For Today- 11/18: We saw cold and wet conditions with this storm but just not at the right time. CBMR’s powcam shows 9”+ but the snow line remained high with just enough on the ground to drive temperatures down as the skies cleared. Sunshine will dominate valley wide but the cold will be our dominant weather feature so plan activities accordingly.

Temperatures: Overnight lows plummeted as skies cleared to 1 for Crested Butte and 13 for Gunnison. Highs today will climb to 30 for CB and 36 for Gunni but be prepared for colder wind chills with even small gusts. Lows tonight will be right around 10 with only a slight warm up.

Outlook: Clear and sunny conditions hold through Sunday with a weak northern wave moving across the area Monday night that could produce some snow showers but little more. Temperatures warm through the week with the next cold front holding off until Friday. Still no big winter shift in the forecast so enjoy it while it lasts.
