Mostly an upslope system but expect a mix.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Weather Update- For 4/20-4/21: This southwestern flow has developed about as expected with the brunt of the moisture in an upslope flow that will move east of the divide through the morning. This moisture will linger on the higher terrain but a dry slot moving in from the west will produce a mix for the rest of the valley. Cooler air will keep the snow line close but look for a rain snow mix down low and changes on the passes in and out of the valley. Most of the moisture will be past but lows in the mid 20’s tonight will see wet roads freezing with slick travel possible. Snow will continue overnight and tapper through Saturday morning with temperatures bouncing back to the mid 40’s for CB and the low 50’s for Gunni. Warm and sunny conditions continue into early Monday but western waves will fuel an unorganized mix into next week with models still waffling on timing and trajectory.
