10/21- A partly sunny mix.
Crested Butte Weather and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- Today- 10/21: A weak wave in the western flow will cross the area through the day with high clouds early thickening through noon and then dissipating through the afternoon. As it moves through we will likely see some gusting winds but these will calm with the clearing skies later in the day. This cloud cover early will slow the rebound from a cold morning so have layers.
Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped again under the clear skies hitting 13 for Crested Butte and 17 for Gunnison. Highs will look like yesterday at 54 for CB and 59 for Gunni. Lows tonight will look similar but likely a little warmer.
Outlook: A pocket of dirty high pressure holds in the west but with the atmospheric river moving through to our north offering scattered cloud cover into the weekend. No part of this wave looks to offer any meaningful moisture but we could see some scattered flakes Saturday night but nothing meaningful. Expect periods of high gusting winds keeping everything moving.
