10/24: Drier air moving in.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update-  For 10/24: We are into the wraparound portion of this storm with satellite and radar imagery showing remnants to the north and west but also a clear line of drier air on the way. We may see some remnant showers through the morning but also clearer skies with sun quickly melting the snow we are seeing at the north end of the valley. The cam for Monarch Pass shows slick conditions with fog so plan accordingly. Keep the layers handy for fast moving changes but we will be clearing from west to east.

Temperatures: Lows dropped to 30 for Gunni and 25 for CB. Highs will rebound with the sunny mix to 49 for CB and 54 for Gunni. Lows tonight will be cold in the teens as skies clear.

Outlook: We are in the dry gap between waves through early Sunday with highs in the 50s but be prepared for cold overnight lows. By Sunday afternoon the next round noses in from the northwest with the moisture staying to the north offering a glancing blow to our area with more wind than rain/snow but a dusting into Monday morning is likely.
