5/3: A few more clouds in play.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 5/3: The pattern is progressing about as expected with satellite imagery showing some cloud cover moving across the area from west to east but little moisture. Look for another day a lot like yesterday with the standard spring winds building into the afternoon pushing spotty cloud cover through but with solid windows of sunshine.
Temperatures: Clear skies pushed lows down to 25 for Gunni and 21 for CB. Highs will reach 53 for CB and 61 for Gunni. Lows tonight will look about the same.
Outlook: The southern edge of the more northern jet holding on the CO/WY border will drag just enough over our area to keep the winds blowing and a mostly dry mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures climb ahead of a cold front moving in Monday and a glancing blow Saturday night and again Sunday night will offer a few drops/flakes. Monday will be colder and wetter tapering Tuesday with skies clearing again Wednesday. So another serving of the spring mix but nothing too aggressive.
