One question I consistently get from local business owners is why should I advertise? The most basic answer to this is that in communities the size of ours, local patronage is won by merit but with visitors and tourists, you need to be the most visible to ensure your potential customers find you. These visitor dollars are ultimately the difference between just surviving and actually making money.
The last few years have been complicated for the TV industry and even as things have changed, we have managed to keep up. CBTV remains in the local hotels and we have added free Apps (search CBTV.TV) for Apple TV, Roku and Fire TV with additional on-demand classic local productions. The untethering effect of adding all these streaming options has allowed us to keep our local audience but also add thousands of subscribers from the Front Range, Western Slope and the entire Southwest Colorado TV system.
